There’s a special tree just outside our backyard here, it’s visible from my bedroom window and every day the rather vocal squirrels run up and down it for my entertainment. I finally decided to meditate beneath it, and when I returned I found this little gift… a heart-shaped leaf stuck to my leg. I only returned to meditate there once more, because I soon realised dogs were peeing up against it. So now I just appreciate it from afar. It’s the first thing I see when I open my eyes every morning… In the absence of a beautiful man, this is the next best thing! :)
