A Leap of Faith

It occurred to me a few days ago, as I was updating the header on this blog, that people might be expecting to read something other than what I’m choosing to share in this space.

The nature of this blog, the content of the book, and indeed the things I choose to share on social media sites (facebook, twitter, linkedin) are all quite different. It’s always been my intention to share different facets of myself and the project through these different mediums. It seems to flow naturally that way and also I don’t really see the point in repeating myself.

This blog contains a mixture of things, often depending on my mood as a result of what’s happening in the experiment. I don’t go into any of the mental alchemy work I’m doing or much about the measurable results. It’s not a straight report of what’s being discovered, and is unlikely to contain any conclusions. The results of the first 12 months are now being assessed and drafted in book form, and this is where the really useful information lies.

This blog should give a flavour of the work and how I write, and will contain little standalone stories that I’m unlikely to include in the book. Little insights into what’s being created and experienced on this journey. And should give an idea of whether the published books will be something you’ll want to read.
